Vuma Reach Phoenix Thread

Wait. I think the WhatsApp line is still working. You can WhatsApp them and ask them what's happening with you

Yeah bruh. I guess that's all I can do now. Hows your line running? Experience any downtime?

Would "expression of interest" mean that I'm keen on taking the product or does it have another connotation?

It's just a term that Vumatel uses whenever there is a Vuma Reach order placed it goes to Expression of interest. After that we should see it go to installation pending. Provisioning and then Active.

Thanks for clarifying that up. That doesn't sound too good though. Vuma makes it seem like I'm still undecided about whether I want fibre or not when I've already paid up and the process is like 4/5ths complete.

So does Vumatel trench the yard when they come up to install? I'm expecting an installation next week.

They will ask you where you would like to have the ONT device installed and the path you would like them to use. You can always ask them if they recommend an alternate route, Bare in mind that they only supply you with 5 metres of conduit. Be nice to them and they may hook you up with extra cabling and conduit for free

*cough cough* like my extra cabling that I got lol

Cool. Thanks for the heads up. I'm just wondering how they run it on the outside of the house.

I think early adopters get dibs on freebies . My ADSL is really on its last bout. The Telkom tech was here on Wednesday to fix a fault on the mainline. He said the copper lines in the area are too old and we should look at getting Fibre. Then he asked who's the Fibre provider and he seemed surprised lol.

We are working on some express routes for KZN, 156ms to London
Wow seriously that's a game changer for us KZN gamers

My ADSL line died in 2019. I was on Rain ever since.

I thought I was gonna get hooked up with fibre this week and was planning to cancel my ADSL before the 15th as I dont want to be charged for the up coming month. Unfortunately looks like I have to hold on to it.

What's the hold up with your installation?
