Vuma Reach Phoenix Thread

Hey guys, quick question. I'm getting strict nat on my Xbox. How I resolve this?

I have my Xbox connected to a switch and the switch connected to the ont. Should I buy another router and connect that to the ont?

1. Enable UPnP in ONT/router settings
2. If with afrihost or cool ideas ask them for a public IP

For the 5m conduit guys... Never heard of this in CTN... There were some horrible installs where what looks like more than 20m of conduit was used and clients weren't charged any extra... @jdido87 can comment here as his parents place were one of those lazy 20m conduit installations that was fixed after logging a complaint.

We were aware of 30m cabling free and pay after that for any longer... no conduit 5m KFC money crap!
Ya no I have seen some installs, my parents included, where common sense were thrown out the door. The install at my parents place were like tattooing 28 on your forehead but just the Fibre version.

Groan… had my install done today but when they tried to hookup to main AP they found the conduit blocked..sigh.

Now I have to wait for the civil team to come unblock the conduit before the install can be completed.

So nearly 2 months later and 2 failed installations, a third tech arrived to complete the connection as he was told the duct to the AP had now been cleared.

1. He first unrolled the fiber cable that was initially left behind by the first two teams and measured it to the AP, only to find the cable is 0.5m short - so he redid the installation (dug up the old cable) to replace it with a 100m cable - he didn’t have anything shorter.

2. He tried to feed the cable through the duct to the AP and guess what, it’s blocked.

I’m tired of this crap. My new joke is how many Vuma teams does it take to unblock a duct…

I would love some upload speed increases. It would help with the backups I do daily
