Vuma Reach Phoenix Thread

Hi Everyone, I've had my fibre active for about a month now in Shastripark. It's been a terrible experince thus far, extremely unstable connection which is weird for fibre. My old ADSL line was way better than this. I'm with Webafrica, wifi signal constantly drops and a lot of the time I can only access limited websites which again is very strange.
Not sure if this is just a Vuma Reach issue, ISP or faulty modem? Webafrica's service is shocking, no chance of getting hold of them on a call. Only means of communication is their Whatsapp chat, quite difficult to troubleshoot with their techs via messages when you do finally get routed to one.
Anyone else experience these type of issues? Maybe I need to try a different ISP?
Could be a ISP issue. Although web Africa support is terrible. I moved all my clients to either Axxess, CISP or Afrihost. They make telkom and home affairs seem proficient.

Just an update, as confirmed by others Webafrica's service is beyond terrible. Can't get hold of anyone on the phone, while on hold you keep getting told to use their superfast Whatsapp chat. The chatbot kept trying to contect me an agent and failed to do so everyday since Friday, I've got about tons of messages that get sent every 15-20 mins saying that this is taking longer than usual, I'll keep trying until eventually at the end of the day so sorry we haven't been able to get back to you. What a complete joke!
Finally got hold of a consultant this morning who wasted 1,5 hours of my life going through what can only be a pre-recorded fault finding script. Note this would have taken a max of 20 mins had they actually called me instead of tediously typing messages on Whatsapp.
Anyway, problem not solved. They've now "escalated" the matter, no ETA on when I'll get feedback.
I've asked that a manager contact me because I want to cancel and refuse to have to deal with this till the end of March as they want a full calendar months notice to cancel.

Maybe someone here know's what could possibly be the cause of the issue.
No streaming service works on the TV's or cellphones via Wifi or on the PC connected via LAN.
What's very weird though is both on the PC and the cellphones it's possible to perform Google search's, results pop up but I can't open any of the links.
Youtube seems to work only on the cellphones and PC, not at all on any of the TV's.
Issue is driving me crazy, not sure if they have some sort of data traffic shaping or something mistakenly activated on my profile

Maybe try running a pingplotter to google via a PC?

does this mean that there will no longer be the 80/20 package for R529?

i understand that, but is that going away not that the 100/50 is available?

They should decrease the prices of the 20/10 and 40/10 packages and have the 80/20 package for R529.

That being said R897 for 100/50 is a bargain, considering a few years ago that was what I was paying for a 10Mb ADSL line

I think the test ends next month. So Feb will be the last month we get 80 meg downloads. Ill do My upgrade on the 20th
I'm contemplating whether to upgrade now or wait until next month. I have 20tb of stuff to upload to googledrive, could really use the upload speed bump

While the rest of the Vuma Reach network was paying R529 for the 40/10 package you guys Phoenix was getting a bump up from this package to 80/20 for the same price because you guys was the test subjects but all good things comes to a end unforunately

So is anybody on the 100/50 package yet? If so how is it holding up?
