Also The speeds have been absolutely **** the past few days...it works fine ...then boom can't even get 1mb on a speedtest and I ain't bothering reporting it this time...

Afrihost and Vuma need to fix the issue
 
PPPOE Issues in KZN Pending Investigation

There is a suspected outage for Vuma Reach.
 
Was moving my router a tad to attach the mini-UPS and place into a cupboard I built. LOS issues. Think I must have damaged the cable. It was only to move 30cm up from the desk onto the cupboard shelf and I was handled with care but must have messed up.

General repair ETA and repair costs, if you have also experienced the need? Hopefully a single visit can address the issue, would hate if they test and say that the replacement cable needs to be laid to the kerbside again, or a new ONT is required and wait for the next team to respond.

Awful timing financially, and I had already cancelled DSTV - so running on a LTE package until restored.

Follow up : Repaired 22 hours after fault logged, I was not at home 4:15PM when they were on my road attending another call) - cable tested at my end and they took of maybe 10cm and added a patch panel and flylead - no cost to me.
