Vuma Reach Phoenix Thread

I really wish the double speed promotion carried on infinitely but feeling the drop in speed and R300 more for 100mb doesn't feel worth it. Anyone moved away from reach onto something like 5g and reached speeds above 100mb.

I'm getting 100Mbps on 5G at the moment at my place with cellc which I thinks piggy backs Mtn

The product has become the new Telkom ADSL. The line speed does start off at 30mbps or so when the Speed test first starts off and then it throttles down to 20mbps. It's a pity we don't have Fibertime in the area.

We've gotten used to 30/20mbps that used to run on the same package for the past 3 years. The only equivalent I see is Openserve. Would be good if Vuma Reach had something similar in offering.

If you purchased a 20Mbps package and got 30Mbps for a while (vumatel actually manages this mechanism)

Its not like we can do anything as the ISPs, we are actually the ones covering the bandwidth fees in these situations for the same margin as 20Mbps right.
