So, I may have messed up, I acknowledge this, however, I need some help.

Have VT as ftth infrastructure and swapped over from Telkom to Vox as ISP.

I Have the D-link Telkom provided router running and it continued to do so even during the ISP swap without intervention.

A Mikrotik router was given and had to ask for the access info from Vox to change passwords for WiFi and SSID too as it was delivered (not installed) Pre configured.

Connected the router without accessing it and it didn't function, contacted Vox and they said they will need to bill for a technician as a disclaimer was signed as it was requested to gain router access. Please note, at this stage, no access was attempted. Fair enough.

So, I am wondering if anyone is able to advise what I can do to get this Mikrotik up and running? Please note out of pure frustration it was factory reset.

As I understand, VT doesn't require a username and password.

What would I need to do?

If it's Vumatel Trench then all you need is just to set your router to DHCP /DYNAMIC IP CONNECTION Mode on the D-link as for Mikrotik you will need a software called Winbox to configure it successfully.
