So far three of my lines have upgraded, all different speed categories.
Will check the other sites today as I go along.
Hi guys, which fiber provider will you recommend? I have PureDSL with Afrihost and are very happy with the service I get. It is completely uncapped unshaped unthrottled with NO FUP. Last month usage was over 3.5TB and was never slowed down. I was thinking since they offer me this awesome service, I will give the fiber a go. R997 for 100/100 is great price. What do you guys think I should go for?
Yes the FNO is Vumatel, I am glad that they have lowered prices and upgraded speed. I have great VDSL coverage and want to stay on it for as long as I can until Openserve decides to decommission the copper network in my area. Vuma was always very expensive, but fiber is within my budget reach now. Afrihost has always given me great service. Thank you for your reply, much appreciated. You are spoilt for choice, but I'd recommend staying with Afrihost.
Who is the FNO in your area? Vumatel?
Mine has been upgraded on mtsI have restarted but no change, but worse on MTS customer portal I am already on the new speeds.

Yes, stood right next the router. Got 1ms ping, 50 up and 50 down. Thats after restarting the ONT at 7am. At work now. Will recheck this afternoon. What speed do you get when your laptop is right next to the router? The same?
Every year VOX will increase the price until you realise you are paying substantially more than what new customers pay and what other ISP's are charging.VOX is offering better pricing on the same packages to new signups and giving a nice big **** off to existing customers...not sure why they think this is ok....was on 50/5..got bumped to 50/50 but same pricing...

i dont really need 50 so 20/10 is a possibility...R260 saving for meCan you cancel and then rejoin? But yes, that's absolute BS
Alternatively, ask them to amend you to the new customer pricing, failing which you'll jump ship. Would be interesting to hear their response
I just simply cannot fathom the business practice, where a business chooses to openly discriminate and punish EXISTING customers. They must have gotten their BA degrees in a cereal box
I thought 20/10 was gone? shouldn't it be 20/20?Altho they said that, Im running on the new speed without having to reset anything
