The new double your speed promotion as of 13 June 2022 places Vumatel at a price point that is better than Openserve. It also appears that after the promotion period Vumatel will make the speeds permanent which means it will be extremely good value for money.

New Line Speed as per the table:

Current SpeedUpgraded Speed
20/1050/50
50/50100/100
100/100200/200
200/200500/200

Meh. There's a limit to how much data I need and I haven't had a single technical issue with openserve. At this point the data increase is less relevant than uptime and service.

Technically, the double speed promo isn't permanent but the price changes/decrease are permanent.
@Hellhound105 This post explains it much better.
Also there are only two ISPs that i've seen that have the new updated pricing as "permanent", they are Afrihost and Triqa

Thank you, ultimately you can downgrade to your original speed at a better price point.

Doesn't seem to have affected vumareach customers was still on my old line speed last night

This only applies to Vuma Core, Vuma Reach already enjoys a fantastic price point.

The prices on the website is the new prices going forward.
But when this double speed promotion is over the speeds will drop, but keep the new pricing?
Am I correct in assuming the current pricing on your website is for the speeds stated, but that Vuma has doubled the speeds for the promotional period?
So if a client signs up for 100/100 at R929 then they get 200/200 for the promotional period?
