Vumatel's Discrimination

Ohhh and also, if you look at the picture you sent
The area to the left of Tileba is definitely considered “richer” than the area to the right,
Yet the “poorer” area is getting the fibre.

GTFO with your condescending bullshit argument

How can I get hold of the CEO of Vumatel. Would like to inform him of his total discrimination against lower income groups.
This borders to utter criminal activity.
Up until yesterday, our neighborhood (Dorandia Pretoria North) was part of the Vumatel roll-out of fiber in our area.
BUT the discriminating Vumatel has decided to only continue the installation for the higher income areas.
The areas on the map (in Red), "lower income areas", was included in their original roll-out but conveniently removed yesterday.
Fiber is clearly more affordable and reliable than the wireless garbage like 5G and other wireless services.
why is fiber exclusively for the rich?

Why didn't they build >insert name of expensive hotel< in Soweto, but rather built it in Sandton?

Hi @lsmt , it's the CEO here, Mr Tel.

How can I help?

The guy with the clipboard knocked on my door yesterday offering fiber services. I told him we are not interested nor is anyone in the area.
He then asked I knew of any areas that are interested, so I told him there is a lot of interest in Ninapark and Florauna.

Sorry mate, I did not know

It is always easy to attack someone but it is never easy to apologize. If there was a way to contact Vumatel, this could have been avoided. But so be it. I apologize for my attack against vumatel. I found a friend, that knows a friend, that knows a contractor that is involved. According to the contractor, apparently the original "show my interest" area is still included in the planning. The problem is that Vumatel's web administrators doesn't know how to show both the "show interest" and "build in progress" polygons on the same area. They can only show one polygon for an area. Thus the reason we were are suddenly excluded, the polygon changed from "show interest" to build in progress. It seems there is still hope for fiber in our area.
