Africa has no musical talent. Blowing one note continuously on a vuvuzela doesn't count as musical entertainment.
wow. thanks for pointing that out.had no idea. Ever watched a Ghanaian or Nigerian football match?

FIFA have no plans to ban or stop fans from blowing noisy vuvuzelas at the Confederations Cup or next June when South Africa host the 2010 World Cup finals.
'Noisy' vuvuzelas here to stay
In reply to a fed up journalist who complained about the "terrible noise" that the unique South African vuvuzelas make and suggested that they should be banned, the FIFA president smiled and said he agreed that the "trumpet" used by local fans was a noisy instrument. "But," he
added, "That is what African and South Africa football is all about - noise, excitement, dancing, shouting and enjoyment. This is a celebration."
I don't know what Fernando means but kwaito doesn't count as music.
Thats your opinion...one which the majority of South Africans would disagree with.
Vuvuzelas annoy me but...
.
Most South Africans are black Africans.
Not surprised at all. Most articles I've read have this attitude. Majority of the people are expecting us to fail. Even our own people. It's sadQuote from a reader on goal.com

These people are so stupid. I still have no clue why FIFA gave these ******s the world cup. Everything they do is backward in an area of the world deemed by many unsafe

These are the people who freaking attend the matches. Now the "whites" want to come and say, "hey guys, sorry but those things are noisy."
people who have no interest in local soccer now want to tell the fans how they should attend games.
This is soccer. IF you want peace and quiet go watch a game of golf or tennis![]()

get over it.
soccer city 11 july 2010
91,000 spectators.(noise...noise..noise)
if you want peace and quiet. go for a walk in the park OR use your wireless headset in the stadium to pick up the commentary.
There is a BIG difference between a game with great atmosphere, with the crowd singing and chanting and dancing and the constant monotone drone of an army of trumpets for 90 minutes. It is pathetic. Does not create 'atmosphere' at all.
This will go on and on. I just wanted to make it clear to international visitors who'll find this thread that 90% of the people complaining here have never even attended a local soccer match.
So I wouldn't take the poll results too seriously.
