Opels have a tendency to blow the back lights in the center console. My mechanic told me it would be stupid for me to ask him to fix it since the labour would be way more than the 5 bulbs @ R15 each. I googled, got a very good pdf explaining how to do it and it took me and a friend about 2 hours and I had new silver center console, after market front loader and new bulbs fitted. Did the same on a Corsa Lite which is a bit more tricky than the Astra G.
I cant believe those stupid retards at GM wanted to replace the heater controls. If you are going to take that out fitting new bulbs to it is a minute extra. I posted some pics on mybb (Astra G after-market head unit). You are welcome to pm me if you need advice.
