WA - Fair usage Policy

I can't see how you can say that.

What is a lot? if you can tell me that, then i would be happy, but WA does not say what a lot is.

besides that.... the peaks you see there is steam downloading between 1am and 6am (which is not suppose to affect my stars)

Ok.

On their 4Mb uncapped I used to schedule all downloads between midnight and 6AM, and then we mainly only streamed Netflix or Hulu from 7-8PM - this kept us at 3-stars consistently and worked out to just over 100Gb in a month.

Reason I moved was because I don't like the daytime limitations, and monitoring star-ratings so I was more than happy to pay a little bit more and never have to worry.

It took a few days and little over 50gig of data for me to be dropped to a 2 star rating and i was throttled down to ridiculous speeds. I stopped using this account right there and then. This on a 4mb home uncapped account. Has to be one of the "strictest" FUPs I've encountered yet
Done with Webafrica, trying out Crystal web now and yet to be "throttled/shaped/screwed over"

I have to agree. All is fine and dandy untill I want to buy a game from xbox live. Then my star rating plumments.

Web Africa, how the FLCK does your stars work?

You are not responding here, just like you are not responding to any of your complaints.

Hi Polemus,

Our star rating is determined by our system. There's no predefined amount that you need to use during the 10-day rolling window, but with the uncapped account one needs to manage the account closely by visiting the DSL Consol, so you can see if your star rating is dropping from 5 or 4 stars. Once you reach 3 stars, this means you need to slow down and schedule your heavy download for 12 midnight - 6am.

Please stop spewing bullsh!it and give numbers.

Pathetic the way WA tries and dodge the question. You never answer the question.

I have lost ALL respect for you guys
