WA or Axxess or Mweb ?

What 3 providers will give best solution for wow raiding tank ?
 
I get 230-280ms (to European servers) consistently with WA, for years now. And that's on their shaped accounts.

I haven't tried Axxess recently, but in the past they were always a bit worse, 300-350ms (on semi-shaped), still not bad I guess.

The forum is full of bad comments about Mweb gaming latency, at least on their uncapped accounts. Dunno about their capped accounts.
 
Yeah, WA is your best bet. Cybersmart and Telkom are just as good.
 
web africa ftw, telkom is crap don't know why you would recommend them ,i personally stay away from telkom, they just money hoggers and crap service

Mweb is ok for heroics and 10mans but not so good in 25's WA > All

Well 25-mans have a few extra requirements unrelated to ping. Due to the increase of activity you actually need a solid SPEED too. Most 25-mans will 99% of the time utilize some sort of VOIP [Ventrillo/Teamspeak] extensively , again you need proper streaming SPEED for that. So there is a bit of a jump from 10-man to 25-man in terms of connection requirements.

Now i can't comment whether Mweb vs WA is any better here, but if one service is shaping/slowing down certain ports and protocols, you might not notice it in a 5-man or even a 10-man, but suddenly in a 25-man you very well might end up lagging/disconnecting when your connection can't keep up with the burst of extra data.

Unfortunately all my 25man shots I have a focus target that is over the latency meter so can't show that now but usually its not much worse or usually better than in Wintergrasp.

Thats not what i said at all, thats what you are saying. Mweb latency tends to go up and down allot WA is constant low latency...
 
is it possible to get these pings on GuildWars, I never get bellow 430ms, using a 384kb semi-shaped telkom.
 
Angellus dont get me wrong, for the price you pay Mweb Rocks! and like you say no cap :) I use both atm and when Mweb feels a bit slow i just switch to WA. Im just saying if you want the absolute best its WA, you pay for it though..

Of course you can get pings :P Anyway try a WA prepaid 1GB and see if theres a difference. Its all in the pudding :)
 
I'm used to iBurst, I'll be happy with pretty much anything under 600ms :p
 
WA ftw, I am on their titan special (15gb for R199) and my latency is under 500ms to US servers.
 
Don't use Axxess, I have an account with them (semi-Shaped) and I get over 2000ms all day.

I get about 570ms on my MWEB Uncapped (shaped) service during the day and around 700ms at night, although I cannot raid with my MWEB account.

I also have an Afrihost connection but its the same as Axxess... So no raiding for me until I can find a better ISP and get a paid account with LowerPing. xD

Why don't you try a WA account?
