They sent out invites to more people, pre-purchase only guarantees you access. There is a difference between:

You only get in the beta if you pre-purchase

and

You will get in the beta if you pre-purchase

Another point, the pre-purchase costs the same as that the final game would. R429 at Takealot is not much for a great game like this. You will have to buy it now, or when it is released, beta access or not. Even if they had a completely open beta before release, you will have to buy the game.

There is no official date. The only thing we know is it is this year. Anet have stated they were very happy with the first beta, and if you look at the number of changes that have been made since the first beta, they have certainly done a lot. The good thing is a LOT of concerns that people had have been addressed. So, if they are addressing people's concerns directly in the last month, I think they are certainly on track for a release in August or September.

Ek wil net dankie se aan almal wie ons gejoin het die naweek en lekker fun saam gehaad het in die WvW en die lekker chat oor /g, ons het n totaal van 27 SA Members nou in ons BETA guild en dit het ons gekry nou oor die hele naweek.
