I don't see a thread for this, so I'm creating one.

I have watched the first three episodes and am holding thumbs for it to get some direction. Every now and then, something cool happens, but it is mostly hogwash.

Why are there so many series that get hyped the way they do, and keep you glued in case something happens? I am talking about things like: Mr. Robot; Westworld; Legion; True Detective S2-S3. Why is it so pretentious? Why are some of those still taking up disk space at my place?

Please share your thoughts. Are we just Marvel fanboys?

Wanda Vision It's interesting, but strange. I have an idea what is going on. But won't post spoilers. It's just entertainment.

Most series don't really have a point but to keep you entertained and help you waste your time.

Watched the first two episodes. Decided it's better if I just binge it afterwards. Not a fan of the old school sitcom setup.

My theory is they're either trapped in the mind stone, a Hydra matrix-like framework or some pocket universe Wanda created.

The third episode explains that.

Not a fan so far. Will give episode 4 a chance where I expect a lot will happen to change my mind but we'll see...

Not sure how I feel about this. Was expecting awesome, haven't seen any awesome yet.
I'll have to rewatch the last minutes of ep3, I'm not really seeing what you guys are seeing.

I’m also struggling.

I did watch one of those YouTube videos where they break down the episodes and point out all the things you missed because you have a life. That helped actually. I’d recommend watching one of those breakdown videos, it adds some context.

But yea, 50s sitcoms belong in the 50s.

Its weird....

But im going to give it a chance because i like looking at wanda

You're a REAL Marvel fanboy if you understand her character in the X-Men. She's warped (well, also the daughter of Magneto) and causes the House of M when her "children"are killed. She essentially uses her reality altering powers and strips almost every mutant of their powers leading Magneto, Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver to rule them.
So I think this show is kind of hinting towards her weirdness.
I need to start watching it, but stick it out.

I actually applaud the old sitcom approach.

Enjoying how it's unfolding.
Episode 3 was from a different "era" than 1 and 2. I wonder if episode 4 will be an eighties type theme, like "who's the boss" or "the golden girls", after the "three's company" type vibe from epi 3.

Episode 4 gives some context. I feel like the first 3 episodes are a bit of a waste.

I’ve watched the first four episodes and it’s getting good. It was just a slow start that’s all.

Theory is that Wanda is controlling Vision’s corpse and mind controlling the rest of the cast to live her fantasy world.

Nope. Hydra has found a way to control Wanda by using Vision's corps and in return she gets to experience her fantasies.
