Wandavision

Nope. Hydra has found a way to control Wanda by using Vision's corps and in return she gets to experience her fantasies.
I don't think it's Hydra. It's most probably magic user. They seem to be getting into that stuff.

I am liking the series, and I am glad I knew what was up, more or less, with episode one, two and three.

Westview is so much Danny the Street with a good Watchmen dose. Anyway, I do have my suspcions as what may be going on, but going into it will be spoiler territory.

I agree, besides I believe they will explore S.W.O.R.D. lore though they already kinda went into it with the S.H.I.E.L.D series. Just to put it out there, I don't believe Ultron is dead, and he was brought up in conversation which triggered a 'glitch' in Westview, but it doesn't mean that Ultron will be back. Since this being S.W.O.R.D. the Kree and Krull may still be in play, and there are many 'villains' attached. For now, I will leave it at where S.W.O.R.D. and the FBI have concluded may be going on in episode 4.

A certain upcoming Marvel movie is a possible spoiler in my view, but S.W.O.R.D doesn't deal with that particular crises. I do think that S.H.I.E.L.D have run to an end though S.W.O.R.D. is still a subdivision hence it is still S.H.I.E.L.D.

I will be blown away, say Doctor Doom pitch up. Disney does have their rights back now, but they need to introduce the IP in a way it wouldn't impact the current timeline as it basically created a gap and it is about time to set up the next big supervillian, and Doctor Doom will be needed to bring back the mutants (and the X-Men) and give purpose to the Fantastic Four. No better place than to do it with WandaVision.

Not the Fantastic Four...Magneto calling his daugher back...Scarlet Witch is a mutant after all and the daughter of Magneto. I haven't watched the series yet, but with the Quantum Realm, and other realms being hinted at in past MCU movies leading up to End Game, she might be opening these to the mainstream MCU continuity.
AND...she has done some weird stuff in the comics like stripping nearly all the mutants on earth of their powers and ushering in House of M after her kids died...and she has kids in this series!

Slow burn, was going to hoof it after the first one but some comments made me come back to it, intriguing premise unfolding.

The first three episodes reflects different eras in sitcoms.

Episode 1 - 50's Dick van Duke show is the major reference. Note the Stark toaster advert.

Episode 2 60's References I Dream of Jeanie, live action show featuring Larry Hagman as an air force pilot who finds and later marries a genie (Jeanie).

Note the Strucker Hydra watch advert

Episode 3 is 70s Eight is Enough (based on the credit framing)

It's also referencing some marvel comics from the 80s

Episode 4 breaks the sitcom 4th wall for us. It literally inserts us in the Hulk snap which brought everyone back in Endgame (including Wanda) as well as Monica (this character has been around since the late 70s early 80s as an Avenger.)

Ep4 also tells us a very specific time line 2 weeks after snap and before Spiderman 2.

It would appear that almost every prop is curated with the fans in mind.

Can't wait for EP5

Or, other dimensions. /Cough, Multiverse. There is still mystery surrounding Wanda, she didn't expect another brother.

Oh you're right. The next Dr Strange movie is titled Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Maybe someone is manipulating her and Dr Strange will help.

Westview could be an interdimensional plane, there are other dimensional possibilities, but this mechanism can be used to bring the 'Fox' universe into the MCU without retcon or reboot. Disney already spoiled that Deadpool 3 will take place within the MCU and we know a new Fantasic Four 'reboot' is in the works, but not much is known in the public domain. In the case the MCU is exploring the multiverse then there are IPs which they can conveniently reboot. Spider-Man have already ‘experimented’ with these possibilities.

What is important is that Marvel is now wholly at home with Disney.

I'm loving this show - slow burn in the 1st 2 episodes and then it all starts coming together.
I'm missing so many easter eggs, should probably get on the breakdown video train.

But its still a masterful thing to watch.
Hats of to Kevin Feigie and the Marvel Team man.

They've found a great way to make even more money during the year, without any movies coming out in the pandemic with Disney +.

Episode 5 ending what whaaaaat

X-Men Quicksilver reveal has huge implications for Disney MCU

Spoiler, what is actually going on....

She is currently preventing the region lock to expand. Hydra took over the town to expand the show to other regions using VisionSeeding and eventually control the whole world with their propaganda and sensationalism . Wanda is trying to keep it on regional lock. But now the outside, trying to penetrate it with S.W.O.R.D.-VPN, thinking Wanda is the one controlling the town. In the meantime she is just trying to prevent it from leaking and at the same time realise she can use it to create her own show, obviously breaking the contact conditions.

Love the horror elements in this show. It's like a Marvel version of Don't Hug Me I'm Scared

Film Theory (The Film Theorists) made a WandaVision theory which I believe is ~80% spot on. Don't watch it or otherwise you are going to spoil your viewing and neither am I going to link to it. I caught up with the comics last night which served as source material and I can deduce how they are phasing it into the MCU to expand into their next phase.
