Nope, watch further (and read up on Wikipedia about House of M...it might be a play on that). It starts to get explained from episode 3.

Here is my theory, having watched up to Episode 5 last night:

1. It's a play on the House of M storyline in the comics;
2. Wanda is under the control of someone who can control minds, whilst she is also trying to do her own thing to create her reality as it should've been;
3. We will see mutants come out of this and the X-Men will have been revealed, bringing mutants into the MCU.

Bruh...That scene between Vision and Agnes on Ellis Street.

Agnes is Agatha Harkness? Dressed as a witch for Halloween and the cackle laugh. In the comics she mentors Scarlet Witch in exploring her magical powers. Remember in a previous episode where she breaks character and asks Wanda if they must ''take it from the top'', leading to Vision questioning Wanda about how weird that was. She knows what is going on because she probably helped Wanda start all of this and now wants out because she realised Wanda is getting out of control.

Also, Agatha Harkness has ties to the Fantastic Four, notably as caretaker to Franklin Richards. Another tie-in route? This series could single-handedly introduce both the X-Men and the Fantastic Four to the MCU.

Nailed it, although the tease in episode 6 was pretty obvious.

So...Fantastic Four reveal (the aeronautics engineer) or Doctor Strange (with this series tying straight into the new Doctor Strange movie...?

There is a chance of both.

We know Wanda will feature in the upcoming Strange movie and with the way the series is playing out, there is a possible tease in the film's premise already.

Agatha Harkness herself has ties to the F4 along with Monica's ''aeronautical engineer'' hint.

It would be so cool to see John Krasinski and Emily Blunt guest star! They've been strongly rumoured to be in the FF movie. And the production date has been announced too. Just not the cast.

Is Vision going to make it? I saw he was dying that one time he tried to leave the hex.

Wanda is going to lose him a third time? :crying::laugh:

He can only stay alive within the Hex. PS: her powers in the comics are hex powers, so they have nodded to that.

OTHERWISE...the aeronautical engineer is Hank McCoy, seeing as how he has superior intelligence and Wanda Maximoff is a mutant! Boom....X-Men introduced.

Still think it's FF though.

But mutants pre-date one division, right?

Many options,inhumans,mutates and mutants
With all the retconned and diverging reboots

She's already pulled X-Men Quicksilver over to the MCU. Maybe the rest of the X-Men will come looking for him.

No, mutants don't exist in the MCU. Marvel never had the rights to them. Kind of now they do with the X-men continuity Quicksilver being pulled across (as @PeterPan420 below mentioned and which I forgot!). Maybe they do now. And they can retcon her origins (Magneto's daughter).

It doesn't look like she pulled the X-Men Quicksilver.

In episode 7 she tells her kids ''don't believe anything that man said, he's not your uncle''. Quicksilver looks to be the work of Agatha Harkness, see the Episode 7 mid-credits.

It was a cool nod though to have the kickass reference come from xmensilver

I would be surprised if they done that. That would trash everything the MCU has done to date.

Her powers are from an Infinity Stone. Retconning her origins rubbishes Avengers: Age of Ultron and pretty much dumps all over Phases 1 through 3. Not to mention Vision's origin lies in an Infinity Stone as well and how this connects the two.

Mutants are going to come in another way. First sign is the Hex, as it has mutated Monica's cells, either unlocking latent abilities or giving her powers.

Yep, true. If you know the Marvel comics, they have different Earths...dimensions. Earth-616 and the like. Maybe, MAYBE this Wanda isn't a mutant because of the MCU, but she has brought in the Quicksilver who was. Could she have pulled him from that timeline?
Damn...now one can see how this series & Doctor Strange 2 can pull things together. Including the Quantum Realm & Ant-Man 3.

Don't read until you have seen episode 8.

Looks like both our theories fit in. Wanda had dormant abilities (mutant?) that the infinity stone recognised and unlocked. We have also seen the Hex give Monica powers (latent abilities, mutant?). Perhaps a combination of things will be how they start bringing mutants in to the MCU?

Hayward was a MFer. Deliberately showed Wanda Vision's chopped up body and basically goads her in to using her powers. Then he harnessed her powers and creates White Vision, all the while doctoring footage to make Wanda look like the baddie and blame her for stealing Vision's body.
