Wandavision

Don't read until you have seen episode 8.

Looks like both our theories fit in. Wanda had dormant abilities (mutant?) that the infinity stone recognised and unlocked. We have also seen the Hex give Monica powers (latent abilities, mutant?). Perhaps a combination of things will be how they start bringing mutants in to the MCU?

Hayward was a MFer. Deliberately showed Wanda Vision's chopped up body and basically goads her in to using her powers. Then he harnessed her powers and creates White Vision, all the while doctoring footage to make Wanda look like the baddie and blame her for stealing Vision's body.
Yes, watched it with my kids late yesterday afternoon (but skipped the Salem parts). So she's now called
Scarlet Witch
! Not sure what
White Vision
is all about but will have to check that out.
So I guess we might be heading in the same direction here as you said :) The last one SHOULD introduce either Doctor Strange (As it's no secret this series fits directly into that) or the Fantastic Four due to the connection between the one main character, Wanda and the FF.

Wait , you mean there's stuff in the end credits? Crap. I watched the first two episodes ones and they had seemed to be identical so I just stopped watching them.

No stress, the end credits only started with the last two episodes, 7 and 8.

Just wish it was longer than 20 odd minutes per show once you remove the recap, intro's, adverts (although I guess they add some value and irony to the sitcoms) and credits.

Yep, Agatha said the thing. ;)

White Vision is a rebuilt version of Vision minus all emotions and memories. Essentially the sentient AI program Tony Stark originally envisioned. A pure weapon. The interesting bit here; in the comics White Vision was rebuilt by non other than one Hank Pym, so possible tie-in with the next Ant-Man.

The secret codename for this also makes sense now. It was a tease. Remember when Darcy hacked SWORD and found the codename 'Cataract'? Well, cataracts give you double vision.

I think the final episode is going to flip Wanda off the edge. Also interested to find out who the ''friend-turned enemy'' being teased in the next Dr Strange will be; Wanda or White Vision?

I heard that codename! I remember it now as it was mentioned by that dodgy SWORD leader.

Also people with Cataracts have milky WHITE irises?

Didnt enjoy episode 8 very much. A bit too much back story, and not much forward momentum.

Yeah pretty disappointed with the finale. Some cool things but for the most part... A bit meh.

So the Scarlett Witch is the most powerful MCU character, surpassing Strange?

She can freaking astral project herself while simultaneously maintaining her physical presence. Not even Strange could do that, he has to physically go in to sleep mode when he does that.

Getting Dark Phoenix vibes from her now, chance she will go ''bad'' and be the cause of the Multiverse of Madness.

I loved the interaction between the two Visions. Paul Bettany pulled off some top-tier acting in this show. That bit on the Ship of Theseus, I had never heard of that and found it fascinating.

I enjoyed the series, but I can understand why some fans are disappointed.
It seems like most of the events were just vehicles to bring Wanda to a certain point.
Even the major villain was just there to help Wanda along to a certain point.
But it's fine... I understand where they wanted to arrive at, and now we are there.
Love her final outfit though!

It was an extremely high quality production with a strong script and some really interesting developments. Sure it choked on the ending a bit but I’m not bothered, it was one of the highlights of the year so far.

The showrunners threw an oddball with how they set up Agatha, and I am glad they did it. Another good pick up by FT, and I believe he may be 100% right with this one,

Now I have to ask whether Disney will push the Mystic Arcana series into the MCU.

As seen it being previously a notion in this thread, there aren't really 'comic book' villains in this series.

I still think that the Mephisto angle is overreaching in terms with Disney, but yes, Wanda did draw attention to something in the Multiverse which will require the Sorcerer Supreme to intervene which is a scenario I assume will bridge the MCU, and the movie is known. I still believe that Wanda sourced the Multiverse to create, but don't understand how she did it which will be the door to welcome 'Fox'.
