The showrunners threw an oddball with how they set up Agatha, and I am glad they did it. Another good pick up by FT, and I believe he may be 100% right with this one,
Now I have to ask whether Disney will push the Mystic Arcana series into the MCU.
As seen it being previously a notion in this thread, there aren't really 'comic book' villains in this series.
I still think that the Mephisto angle is overreaching in terms with Disney, but yes, Wanda did draw attention to something in the Multiverse which will require the Sorcerer Supreme to intervene which is a scenario I assume will bridge the MCU, and the movie is known. I still believe that Wanda sourced the Multiverse to create, but don't understand how she did it which will be the door to welcome 'Fox'.
Yep, the Chthon theory came on strong in the last two episodes.
The Nightmare theory is another one.
Here is how I have it, Wanda’s chaos magic attracted Nightmare who will be pulling her strings. First entry into the Multiverse. Wanda is going to turn sub-villain which will call on the Sorcerer Supreme where Nightmare will be unveiled as the villain which will lead to Chtlon.
I am in the opinion that Disney may avoid Mephisto simply because… however, there are many other villains in this demon league. Shuma-Gorath is another chaos demon, which is a galaxy destroyer, which may spur on Captain Marvel to come to the rescue. Blackheart who corrupts superhero souls…
When it comes to Wanda, she is much stronger than Strange, but she is only adept at Chaos magic where Strange is adept at all magic and martial arts , a true wizard (or sorcerer) supreme.
Anyway, since all these phases empathises technology and magic, true Steampunk style, Dr Doom in my opinion will be the natural big bad. Fox messed him up, Marvel will have to redeem and there is comic back story between Doom and Wanda.
The Wandavision series. Agatha isn't a cut-out comic book villain. SWORD isn't a comic book corrupt entity, but them being SHIELD and SHIELD being corrupt in the MCU, well... Agatha did try to contain Wanda's chaos, more like an anti-villain in the series, and I am sure she will be back as an antihero.
All speculation.
Would you get Nightmare as the lead up to something ''bigger'' (Chthlon)? Both are supervillains.
Also, credit to them for the ''Bohner joke''.
Everybody hyped over the X-Men Quicksilver (myself included) and why her brother looks different and all the theories and it ends up as a boner joke.
It is why I say Feige and co are on to the fanbase. So you are spot on @Fulcrum29, we can speculate all we want but probably best to to just sit and enjoy the ride.
Blackheart was in the second Ghost Rider comic...they screwed up that whole character. Here is how I have it, Wanda’s chaos magic attracted Nightmare who will be pulling her strings. Worst part of the series was that Rambo character. Almost identical to the Star Trek Discovery Michael character. Super intelligent, moral and strong. Just felt out of place.
Isn't Agents of Shield regarded as trash non-canon currentlySince Robbie Reyes returned to hell we may even see Ghost Rider return.
