WAR - Which servers?

a short review of how tanking works in WAR.

Seems alot like the WoW type of tanking which would make it alot easier to make the switch. Short right up here. Taunts, different Talent trees and so forth.

The more i read the more this is what I have been looking for. WoW with different chars and a different story line with allot of World PvP :D

SO.... has anyone been able to log in yet and check the ping times to the servers? I'm assuming we would all want the lowest ping possible?
 
I hate the fact that the EU has to be so different to the US. They cant even seem to get their website working. Why on earth dont they just duplicate the US website ??
 
Halloa i also want to start playing WAR.

How much does it cost, do i need to buy online or can I get it in shop. What are the monthly fees? Will I be able to enjoy it on a 384 line?

Not to sure about the monthly costs. Should be the same as the other online games I'm guessing though.

Should work, your latency will be higher though than an unshaped line.

Though I must admit, I have not even bothered to switch over to my unshaped WA account in about 6 months to play WoW.

I will be doing it now though for WAR to test.. If I can just get out of here and get home to install everything
 
I dont know what is worse.. the 12 hour download of all the files.. or sitting back now watching the 200 meg patch updating. Hopefully I can get in soon.

Still no real indication of which servers anyone is on??

Spong mentioned it on the first page, There are two main SA WAR guilds starting from Launch

www.Metagaming.co.za - Order
www.Warhammer.co.za - Destruction

Obviously on different servers, I can't recall off hand what the server names are but depending on your Faction of choice, visit the appropriate website listed above. Both are friendly,experienced and South African, and recruiting(Both Euro region).

Ohh.. Sorry.

Warhammer.co.za wasn;t working earlier, and metagaming had nothing up at all other than a "this is our new page". After playing on US servers for so long it was not really inspiring to see 3 people in a guild.

I'll check them out again now while I wait, for the patch.. if I dont die of bordem waiting first :(
 
'Im on Warhammer.co.za right now, both pages are just a front page,click on Forums and have a look.
 
Anyone in Jhb have the client? I think I need to start playing before the 23rd/24th please! :)

Anyway, I feel so damn anoyed that I'll be a late starter. BTgames should have know it's going to be on everyone's shopping list :(

O well, I'll get to start playing on a Public holiday atleast :D
