Same white Camry that is at the 'almost' same sport every couple of days, tinted back windows.

I watched 3rdegree on this same topic, As the traffic commissioner said , you can ask them what they doing there, if they have the necessary papers to be there, and they should not be 30 m outside of their trapping parameter, that's fraud as they would take cash instead of tickets, watch out for these chancers guys,
If you feel a bit unsafe make use of SAPS or TRAFFIC DEPT

I'm also in the process of trying to find out information regarding this, but long story short, if I get any fines from this 'chap' I wil refurse to pay it becuase he is not visible from 30m away.

I think he is catching people going over the solid white line.

Having said that, I generally have to go over the solid white line to pass vehicles who are in the 'right' lane wanting to go into the left lane - those asses who wait till the end of the day to do it! p1sses me off :mad:

And oh, this Camry is not there when Metro are there.
 
There could be a million reasons why there's a camera in the back of the car. Could be another investigation besides speed entrapment...
 
Nick he cant be looking for guys crossing the solid line cos he is only allowed to pull you over if he is in a marked car.....which he is not
 
Easier said than done, my example is as follows;

You know fines come late, like 1 or 2 months later.
Lets say I get a fine, picture of me crossing the line - lets also say I didn't remember this car (which was taking the pictures or whatever)
I get the fine, a) I pay it b) I don't. c) I get into kark later and end up paying it.

I'd like to know which offramp this is. Are those cars in the background moving off to their left towards Montague Gardens???

I'm getting 'official' documentation regarding 'laws of speed trapping' tomorrow from my contact that works in the traffic department.

I'll try upload it for you guys once I've received it.

Apparently she is 'scanning' it for me.

Think I've seen that oke too. Used to drive that road. My thought was that he was picking someone up.

Is it there at the same time most mornings or at regular intervals?

I haven't seen him for a while... a while to me is like a week or so!

JUst tell them you saw it on MyBB - and they'll back off.
 
Well I get pulled over for making a turn downtown but I'm not even so sure what I did was wrong so he says oh R500 that'll be and oh and your're not wearing your belt so that's R200. I'm like so R800?? what for a turn?, and he says well I'll just give you the R200 better for you, not me.
I think I managed a thanks. :rolleyes:
