Dude you're not buying a PC.I've got a 13kg LG top loader and had it for 10 years. If you're going to buy a WM spend that extra and buy a good one.
Yip. What front loaders offer: lower energy and water consumption (our washing machine is rated A+, 6kg capacity), less washing powder and usually less noise. Sadly you'll have to triple your budget if you want a good front loader.(And then you get 5kg front loaders who are double my budgeted amount, but I hear the higher price are for the higher efficiency they provide).
Thanks for the replies guys.
I'm budgeting R2000 for the washing machine and looking to buy it cash. I hear what some of you are saying regarding the 13kg, but I don't think you can get a decent one for R2000. (And then you get 5kg front loaders who are double my budgeted amount, but I hear the higher price are for the higher efficiency they provide). My wife also says 13kg, but I think 8kg should suffice for us for now, we can always upgrade later on.
To the guys who own that model or a similar one. What is the noise-level of it? We live in a flat on the second floor, so don't want to be a nuisance for others.
