Watch Dogs

I've got the game on PC. I have only one other friend that has it, so the whole multiplayer thing is missing for me. Would anybody who plays the game on PC please add me as a friend on UPlay? My UPlay username is jakallas. Thanks

Really enjoying this game . It gets better the more you play it.
 
Started playing it over the weekend on PC. Control system is incredibly clunky for me (I expected a smoother control system from Ubi, more like their AC games).

Overall I love the concept, and I will definitely give it time to get used to the controls. Loving the mini-games and random hacking.

Anybody got it on XBox360? How is the controls on there?
 
I am quite used to the controls now. On act 3.

I've started using a controller on the PC. Bar the 'crisp' aiming I lose with a mouse and keyboard, I much prefer it.

Also used to it now.

But there are still issues that make me want to tear my hair out. Like when you're in cover and somebody sneaks up behind you and starts shooting - getting out of cover and running is almost impossible, it's like you're glued to your cover position. I've died countless times because of this...

yeah also if you are near 3 cars or mission start (e to start mission) and push e it doesn't always choose the right one and once you push e you can't get out of it until you are in it.

I think this game was one of the biggest disappointments of this decade - not because it was bad, but it was hyped so much and in the end didn't deliver and blow your mind like it was marketed to do.

There is a big difference though between using the actual in-movie scenes, cutting and editing them with some dramatic music, to ensure that they deliver the best impact.
And
Advertising your game's visuals to be at a certain level, while actually delivering well below that standard.

We all know why that is though. The E3 demo was run on a strong PC, which would be affordable today. And if they had spent 2 years optimising for PC, we would get that level of visuals pretty easily. But they spent 2 years optimising for console and simply ported it back to PC.

Weak ass game.

Yes we can all see that the graphics were toned down with the PC release but wouldn't it be a more fair comparison if both videos occurred at the same time, the first one looks its the sun is rising but the PC release is taken at night making it dificult to tell just how great the difference in graphics is.
 
Both seem like night time to me. Besides, you can clearly see that the E3 video has a lot more detail going on. Rubble sweeping across the street, lighting effects more dynamic and polished, coat blowing in the wind, smoke blowing up from vents, etc. I could list more but I think you get the idea.
 
The more you play this game the more fun it gets, I have hardly touched the main missions as there are so many other stuff to do.

The graphics on my PS4 looks fine, there is definitely more stuff to than in inFamous SS.

This game is going to keep me busy for ages.

Must agree with you there.
There is so much to do and while you are busy with the main mission you get distracted 80% of the time to do something else.
I must say I love this game on the PS3
 
How to get away from cops: Get in a boat. Problem solved.
