This video would be enough in any normal democratic country to get him removed from his post. He is not suitable in the slightest.
 
Government is failing to realise that they are not dealing with their usual demographic of South African here. No amount of charm, joke and food parcel will change this situation. They are dealing with a generation of people who overwhelmingly come from a democratic South Africa, whose parents were promised the world and who have pulled the wool from their eyes and realised that true liberation lies in education.

It will however only upset the privileged students. And arguably people who are able to go to university because of the ANC.

Let's not forget that. Let's also not forget that for every upset student, there is a 100* people who eat dirt for supper or go to sleep hungry.

Let's not be short sighted here. But these student protests are a relatively small thing in the grand scheme of things in SA.

If the people who live below the poverty line with no hope to go to varsity because they are too poor to even pass std 8 were to march they'd cover the students with their caps very quickly. That's what SA is. And it's a blessing that most of these people are docile and humble as heck.

*Probably way more than that.
 
Actually no, it's the next generation of tax payers that they are spitting on. A rude awakening for them but what every person in the private sector knows with our tax money being misused, year in and year out.

It's the ANC way - have a chuckle because you know that things won't change and people will continue to vote for you.

i got to agree with this, but at the same time, my opinion is even if majority of SA votes for another party, they will do what Mugabe does and rig the entire damn elections... last election fiasco is proof enough of how many things can go wrong
