Watching Olympics with DSTV

Hi,
To watch the London Olympics I'm planning to upgrade my DSTV to Premium package during the events.
The question is: Can I watch HD channels with my standard decoder in SD? Or I won't be able to watch at all and therefore miss the games on the HD channels?

You need an HD capable decoder to watch HD channels.
I think you would get an error on those channels if you tried to watch it on your SD decoder.
But surely there will be alternate SD channels available carrying the same content?

There are 4 HD channels & 4 SD channels, they will be showing the same thing, just watch the SD channels
