Corsair recommends blowing air from the outside in through your radiator. I do this in conjunction with a pulling fan, hence the push-pull config. Compared to blowing air out, I get about 5C drop on the temps.
well it makes sense really. you want the coolest air coming over your rad, simple as that. Show me a scenario where the inside of a case is COOLER than the ambient temp outside and I will eat my words...
That's why the rad needs to be at the bottom of the case (preferably at the front) so it can suck cool air in, over the rad, and the top fan (usually parallel to the CPU) sucks hot air out
I don't get why they don't just put the radiator outside completely. e.g. Put it in a separate compartment in the box that is integrated in the box but thermally separated from the rest of the components.
