Hi all,
I’m looking for a reputable person to handle waterproofing on my balconies. Additionally, I’d like some general work done on the house, but the waterproofing is my top priority.
I’m also getting mixed suggestions on the best approach to waterproofing. Is a torch-on method better than the more conventional method of applying two coats of Super Laykold waterproofing membrane, followed by a Cemflex topping layer, then two additional coats of Super Laykold as a protective top coat before retiling? Would a torch-on method be suitable for a surface that will be re-tiled?
