We are sorry: Eskom

Apology accepted, now fix it please.

Apology accepted if all execs pay back there excessive bonuses and use that for maintenance.

The excuse over the weekend was that diesel reserves were running low? :wtf: Yes levels dropped excessively overnight without anyone noticing. Like no one noticed the cracks of the tower that collapsed.

Everyone is tired of hearing apologies and excuses. Do your freakin jobs and apologizing, etc would not be required!

And next week he will apologise again for the same thing. Sure his house doesn't get loadshedding.

Saying sorry is the easiest thing you can do.

Now exercise some accountability and resign. Every single board member and many of the senior executives and replace them with people who actually know how to run things.

Oh, and payback all your bonuses and other perks.

"We sent the Senior Manager in Charge of Diesel Reserves to the BP to get us R100 worth of diesel and some 500ml Cokes, but he forgot the diesel. This will be brought up in his next performance review."

Stage one allows for up to 1000MW of the national load to be shed, stage two for up to 2000MW and stage three for up to 4000MW.

Wrong. Stage 3 allows for up to 3000MW being load shed. At what point did you silently redefine it as 4000MW?

Eskom was doing everything possible to manage the outages, Matona said.

Everything except getting competent people.

“It really pains us to have to load shed.”

While you insist the execs have to be paid crazy bonuses for "a job well done". Puh-leeze.

He said a complete blackout would spell disaster for the country.

The only sensible thing you have said.

“We load shed out of responsibility… A complete blackout would be catastrophic and can take weeks to recover from.”

No, complete rubbish man. You are forced to load shed now because of a complete lack of responsibility.

The energy crises we find ourselves in is as a direct result of a lack of responsibility on your part. Now stop talking out of your rear end and go tell those execs there wont be any bonuses. In fact, go tell them there'll be some disciplinary hearings instead.

15:23 - From Fin24 user Frans Sehata: "This load shedding is caused by poor government, poor management, poor supervision, poor workers - you can see that government hire unqualified staff for important posts and this lead us to poor production and poor community."

Nailed it!

He returned with KFC, give that main a R22 000 000 bon-us.
