We need more motoring threads

They should make some sub forums for this Motoring section.

Maybe one for VAGs & Lancia or something like that.
They can call it VAG & Lancia Pride :p

Why? The OP is already complaining that there is not much going on in the motoring section and now you want to create subforums for it.

Not all of us are into cars. I use it to get around. That is where my fascination stops.

Good luck!:p
Both you and Alfa have failed thus far!:)

The Russians and Canadians now own Opel - it will never die :D

Yeah and look at what happened when the Russians took over TVR. :D

Opel is like the retarded stray dog that nobody wants to adopt. They'll look after it for a while before passing it onto someone else!

I'm waiting for VWSA to bring in Skoda only then to discontinue a year or two later :p

Atleast they can if they want. Or Buggati for that matter....
Cant wait for Clicks to start selling Opiel sewing machines with a walnut wood effect!:p

Despite all that Opel is still the oldest German car maker, and that means they have been around the block once or twice.

I should add that Russian banks only supplied the money. Magna International Inc used the money and they know cars so they are bound to make Opel much more successful than GM ever did. In addition to the Big 3 U.S. automakers, Magna's major customers include Volkswagen, BMW and Toyota. In Europe, Magna Steyr holds contracts for the assembly of the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chrysler Voyager minivan and BMW X3 SUV.

OK...you can always tell everyone that Opel WAS the oldest car manufacturer in Germany BEFORE they were swallowed up by the Russians :p

The Germans now own more of Opel than they did before. Part of the shares sell out meant that 10% of the shares went to employees of Opel and Vauxhall.

We all have a cousin that we all hate...
Guess the Germans can choose their friends not their family.
