I got a new card last month. I simply refuses to work in tap and go paypoints. It it is off it is OFF!

I dont care if it was ensured. It is off!!!!!! if I really wanted, I would have enabled Samsung pay on my Flagship Smartphone. Even that is not linked with any bank account in any way.

I've been at petrol stations out in the sticks and when there's load shedding they only accept cash, as the cell towers go down as well. Which is minorly annoying when you have 0 fuel, 0 Rands and too far to go. I never carry cash.

This is obviously an edge case, but there non the less.

It's only really an issue with debit cards. Credit cards can normally be processed offline in batches without any issue.
