Web Africa ADSL general feedback

I'm not at home at the moment, I'll paste two traces to the router.

Seems I can't reach it via IS or Mweb (nevermind, my own stupidity, it only allows pings from one IP)

pastebin keeps the formatting :D http://pastebin.com/YUkjN5nM one trace from IS and one from Mweb business adsl.

Granted, feedback has been slow on our side - However I've followed up yet again this morning with the ADSL Manager. We'll be in contact today with the escalation I logged for you.

Hello Jeff,
I know you had had other issues, but still no feedback and we are talking well over a week. Even with other issues, this is starting to take rather a long time.

Hello Jeff,

Following up on that for you now.

Starting to get rather annoyed now. Two and a half weeks and still the problem remains. Line went down 3 times today. For almost an hour this evening. Tomorrow I'll have to phone WA for the 4th time.

I'll be speaking to a manager for sure

Latency is still horrible, 200ms more than usual, when will this be resolved?

Latency is ok not what is used to be, i used to get 200ms home and around 250ms world i am now getting 280ms home and around 350ms world. While it still playable it was alot better and smoother at 250ms

I am actualy getting better latency on my telkom account now, 250ms home and 300ms world and thats on a shaped account. Dont want to sound negative but if iam going to be getting better latency on my telkom account why would i keep WA as an ISP?

Will give WA till the end of the month if nothing changes i will just keep my telkom account

speeds seem to be ok

I am running till the end of this month - then I will cancel my account. Had enough of this struggle with this ISP, these slow, unresponsive connection issues have been like this for two months. I have been with them for 3 years, I guess it is time to move on…

I am sorry but this is now pathetic. I can not load speedtest; I can not stream internet radio; browsing is really slow and it is after 5

When is WA actually going to sort out their problems and let us users enjoy some hassle free internet??

Just when I thought they finally sorted out the problems.

Rather looks like it is your Line or DSLAM that is the problem, when I say DSLAM, it is your exchange that is oversubscribed during certain times.

Looks like you've made a similar post on our forums too

@Roadrunner: Can you please drop me a PM with your client code and telephone line number so I can have a look at this for you.

Yep I did - but still waiting for a response. In part you have to current issues I know, but no-one seems to make any statement about long term

Long term = Web Africa running like normal. This is a cable fault, something that is out of our hands as we've mentioned before.

Answered like a true marketer :)

You have managed to shift the answer - my question relates to months of hassles and promises of getting back to normal. I know the cable is out of your control; many issues have not been. People have left due to ongoing issues - because of my deal, I do not want to / cannot afford to leave, so am hoping that sooner rather than later WA might be stable again.
