wajeff sent you a pm about line upgrade![]()
Strange indeed, since you bill in advance, not in arrears.
You were effectively given 32 days notice, i.e. on 30 April 2012 before noon, so ample time to expedite moving my line to Telkom and bill me for adsl usage for month of May 2012.
Unless you are billing a cancellation fee these days of R 29.00?
OK, I forgot that I had requested an upgrade from 384 to 1024 during April and the R29.00 appears to be due to pro-rata billing for the line upgrade cost.
All sorted, thanks WAJeff and .... goodbye!
If you truly have been following this thread, you will see that improvements have been there and are being made constantly. If you'd like to discuss this further drop me a PM with your account details.
always pm with account details.. that never resolved anything. I could only wish to have WA like it was a couple a years back.. rock solid. Alas not anymore.
Did you PM me?
If so, it must have been before 2010 - because I can't find a single PM from you on these forums.
Is there any known issues between a 'said' nzb file locatory service in South Africa and WebAfrica? Is WebAfrica IPs being blocked?
I am not able to peruse this glorious search engine like file locatory service, built for the sole purpose of finding things that would increase ocular and auditory stimulus.
Nope I never PM'ed you or even submitted a ticket. I just find it fruitless, cos I've seen so many posts here where people have submitted tickets PM's etc. and the same problems are not sorted out, so I tend to believe it's not account based. I just find it strange that with all my ex, current ISP's I never had to. Things actually never went wrong, barring maybe a Seacom outtage.
Having said that, I apologize if I acted rude, but the experience in the past months was not ideal. I have now cancelled my account and I hope everyone else on your network gets sorted out soon.
Doing things via tickets:There might be something simple on our end, simple on your end - the list can go on forever. You'll never know if you don't ask us for help.
That's why when my friend asked for recommendations for Uncapped ISPs yesterday, I showed him this thread.
I don't understand why u guys are having so many issues.
I use my WA 24hrs a day and it still beating every other isp account I have hands down.
Fast speeds, low latency and barely any visible shaping at all.
So it can't just be WA's network thats an issue, there must be other factors.
Tried playing Diablo 3 on their network?
