Web Africa ADSL provisional changes (November)

neh, doubt axxess can just debit and run... they've been around for a while, worst case scenario - they could just stop being an isp. I also doubt they will be offering saix accounts.

I'd hate to change my email address again, but openweb seem to have the best deal now.
 
open gmail account and just forward your email :) ... most pple I know are using gmail now .. much more stable then any SA email service. Only downside is that some sites don't accept gmail,hotmail,etc adresses as valid.
 
They are more expensive by R5 ... (FIVE) ... but they have a much better VPN/proxy offering ... and you get discounts ion your VPN if u go through them ...

Clipse ... you can just credit my next month's account :)
 
I am not very happy right now.... It was coming and I expected the worse but expecting and reality are not the same thing! reality hurts allot more :(
 
How can SAOL offer a 10GB account at R350 when the best Web Africa can do is R570? Did someone get their sums wrong?

"10GB ADSL @ R593 (incl VAT per month) with up to 30GB local bandwidth"

making us the cheapest IS reseller :)
 
Do Nukecap offer international access after capped? on IS?
 
DearHeart ... I already have about 60-70 domains under my name ... just forward from those .... but blobnow is NOT one of them ... but feel free to take it and create a shrine for me :)
 
The prepaid option looks quite nice. I like that my data allowance carries over to the next month. Maybe I will stay with WebAfrica, but OpenWeb is looking very good.

I knew 1 November would come, and it would be just as bad as predicted. To all the people who were going on and on and on about ICASA and their report and their hearing all i can say is "TOLD YA SO"

So i guess the thing to do is get 2x 2gig accounts now? one for local, and then one for international - Im sure even ones that offer international access once capped will be slow as hell...
 
Common ISP's lay it on the line, fight some more we want some good offerings, First read the threads regardsto pricing and services first, elde you could loose some prospective clients.

I think so far OpenWweb takes the cake?
