Web Africa Business Uncapped Feedback

Update:

Well after blowing a gasket took me 5 minutes of using my new Web Africa account. I must thank the quick response of Rupert, Cliff and the Network Manager for Web Africa. I dealt with these guys on a Friday night at 18:30PM and at 19:00-19:20 running all sorts of tests on my line and account. I bumped up my account to 4MB and had my Telkom Exchange port reset and so far everything is running very smoothly.

I will keep you all updated (so no I not canceling my account), well done Web Africa you guys, your service truly is/was amazing this evening. It is much appreciated

LOL, let us know as I'm strongly considering;

Well so far I have used 8GB, about 3 GB on Youtube/Hulu, no issues. Downloaded 1GB on Torrents (fullspeed), 4GB on Giganews (NewsServer) and surfing the net. So far IT IS FANTASTIC!

Still decent performance, runs very well!

Monday Morning:

10:43AM, checking on my account at home from work. The account is running perfectly I can connect via RDP without any issues. Never got that right with MWEB for some reason. Busy testing the performance with NewsServers (GigaNews) (What I use the account for work and play!) and it is flying at full speed!

So far impressive

it is flying at full speed! ... So far impressive
Thanks for the feedback Linoman. I am really glad to hear that it is positive and that you're enjoying the experience :)

Heck even Amazon Cloud Player loads without streaming issues. Can't wait for static IP so I can setup a basic email server

Looks like you are trying to advertise a business you run? Shouldn't you do this somewhere else

He will try get business away from Webafrica every chance he gets. You get used to him and start ignoring his posts after a while.

Not his business (his is solutions4it). The stuff he posted above is an Altech subsidiary company.

It is kinda tedious though.

Still going strong and no issues so far! Have hit 70GB of 210GB 10 day throttle allowence

I am surely not the only person on the forum who is using this service?

On a old 4mbit line.

Ps. the 1st london server hosted by namsco sucks, it always has latencies above 300ms.

Oh forgot to mention, while doing these, I was streaming 128kbit Clubberry Dance stream on HTPC and had WoW open in the background at 185ms latency.

Well today is my 11th Day using the service and my 10 day throttle limit hasn't been reset to 0? Have contacted support and waiting

So it is working now, except this time it starts going backwards on the dial. Which is seriously confusing and not user friendly. Can't we rather have the dial reset its self to zero every 10 days.
