Yeah, something is definitely wrong with the WA network today. Very erratic.
Also, I've noticed they are throttling the NS during the day lately.
I reckon its a peering issue:
Code:C:\Users\HX>ping www.google.com Pinging www.google.com [196.23.168.147] with 32 bytes of data: Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Request timed out. Ping statistics for 196.23.168.147: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 0, Lost = 4 (100% loss),
Thanks for bringing this up.
We have noticed a lot of queries with regards to our network today - as I'm sure you can see even on here, threads have been popping up with regards to poor latency and degraded speeds.
As mentioned in my post here we are waiting on final confirmation as to the finer details.
With regards to the News Server being shaped/throttling during the day - I do know that this was the case a few weeks ago due to network degradation. I stand under correct, however according to my knowledge this has been or was lifted. I'll confirm for you and get back to you on this in a few minutes
Thanks again for being so patient here guys, it really is appreciated! We'll be looking into many methods and preventative measures once this is resolved that I can assure you!
