Web Africa trial speed

While I am not going to overly praise the current service, I must say I am impressed with my international ping.
What concerns me is that I have a Trial shaped account. This could mean that they have not fully implemented port shaping etc.
But currently playing IL2 on an international server with a sub 270 ping is very impressive. On my unshaped axxess account I rarely achieve this.
If this is what the future holds, I may well switch. What I really would like to know is what the unshaped trial users are getting.
Those on the trial post here, we have signed no NDA so I would appreciate some unshaped feedback on international pings.

The actual speeds seem to not be that high though, was downloading from Easynews last night and with 10 connections got a total of about 40KB/s on a 4MB line. This morning I checked and it went up to 200KB/s. Switched to Telkom and same downloads jumped to 430KB/s....

I switched off the Easynews downloads and ran torrents yesterday as well, on which I averaged about 100KB/s.

Torrents and file sharing aps, news servers are very subjective.
I am more interested in persistant drops in pings during gameplay tests.
Yes I am downloading torrents etc, why waste free 10gigs.
But if I was to switch over it would be because international pings are reduced.
That is why I am asking.
A sub 200 ping for me is a dream.
I am just wondering if it has been achieved.

Well must say I wan't very impressed with my Heroes of Newerth experience on the acc, kept dropping my connection although the actual PPPOE connection stayed connected.
