Hey Hummercellc,

As hereticangel mentions above, our Uncapped is aimed for Business.
Comparing our pricing to our competitors, we're extremely well priced :)

I must admit, the 2MB for R1500 I think is perfect. Especially for those of us who have ADSL lines running between 2-3Mb. Will be good to test this for my business and home usage as well (what running a business from home)

Just to add I was running MWEB Uncapped, Unshaped ADSL for R2000 a month (ok this is for a supposedly 4mb line) was not happy with it.

Then my other option was Openweb R1299 for afterhours other wise rest of the day is at 192K.

But for R200 I can get a business ADSL account that runs at my line speed, I don't need to download the net so the rolling window should be fine. Well done Web Africa

Question is that, Is it unshaped? So I can expect same or better performance than consumer range?

yep its got rolling window in place for those abusers, so im thinking should be nice speeds on p2p etc.

I upgraded to the 4Mb uncapped at our company, no complaints so far
Solid speeds all round, quite happy with it.

while i am no fan of the rolling windows, the 4mb threshold seems reasonable enough

Check out www.kawuleza.com.
were based in the western cape for now. JHB opening end April. You can get a 1mbps uncapped unshapped line from us at R2398

1) SPAM, FFS start your own thread
2) Really 1mbps Uncapped and Unshapped for R2398? I can get 2mbps for R1500 from Web Africa or 4mbps uncapped and unshaped from MWeb for R1999. You FAIL!

Well Mweb is R1999 (ex line rental) R2359 (in line rental) and thats unshapped, uncapped, no rolling windows, 4096kbps and it's a business service

lol linoman.....

I have web africa 384 home adsl package for the past two years at home and i'm quite happy with it's stability and quality of service, so i would imagine their business packages as being awesome if they are better than the home packages.

A lot more detail around the workings of the Business Uncapped accounts can be found on our KB article :)

Thanks, Good job for being transparent on bandwidth prioritization on each service affected. If you had static IPs, i'd get my company to switch over.

WAJeff any ideas when we can expect a static ip?

Static IP's are definitely something that we will be offering, however we need to get all the technical things sorted out before we launch it :)
The Business Uncapped will be launched, closely followed by static IP's.
