Web hosting for R4.50 per month

Well done to Grid host for taking a bold step forward like this, no idea how good your service is but competition is good at any level.

This deal almost seems too good to be true. If I register a domain, will it be registered in my name?

NICE!

I am going to sign up!

What are the payment options? Also can I sign up for hosting without a Domain Name?

Great Pooky!

Payment options are through Credit Card or Instant EFT (through PayFast)
Absolutely, simply choose the last option on the first page of the order process "I will register a domain or I will update my nameservers" - This will allow provision of an account without registering a domain. DNS information is sent in our Welcome Email

When I select the last option, it still wants me to put in a Domain Name. I don't have one yet though.

You'll need to input a domain name so the relevant DNS records can be created on our side. You can then however, register that domain at a later time.

I can also vouch for them. I moved from Afrihost to Gridhost last year and everything has been going smoothly ever since.

Thanks, what if I put in a DOmain name when registering, but then later decide I want to register a different one?

That's no problem Pooky, we'll simply re-create the DNS records for the domain you want to register.

Can I sign up on the cheapest package and then later upgrade while still benefiting from the reduced price?

Good question. I just did the instant signup thing with instant eft but I want to first create a website...

Hi Pooky,

The special generally works for the package you choose initially, however we'd be happy to accommodate an upgrade to MyADSL users should they wish to upgrade their packages at a later stage with the relevant discount applied.
