Let's take it one step at a time. Some kind of wysiwyg editor like dreamweaver, but not dreamweaver, is your first step. Have a look at Kompozer - I haven't used it, though I did use its predecessor, Nvu. It's a graphical html editor - you won't need to know any html to get up and running.
But html is really not that hard. Someone else suggested w3schools - that is an excellent resource.

Its not that Dreamweaver isn't a good program, have great tuts or whatever - its just the initial investment is a little steep.![]()

Why not use Wordpress? Some nice looking themes out there and pretty easy to use.
