Web sQuad ISP - Feedback Thread #2

@websquadza - some issues this morning, Octotel, CPT
Seem to have an IP and PPPoE is up but no traffic at all.
Anything you’re aware of?
Same. Happened twice now. Octotel Cape Gate area has been really bad as of late.
Apologies, I was offline the past two days. We did notice a few tickets from Cape gate and a network announcement. Please let me know if things have stabilised?
 
Been having issues ever since I got home and I thought they'd just fix themselves after a few hours but nothing.

Can't load anything from banking apps (they just keep spinning endlessly), can't connect to plex server in any way, can't load slack (just keeps spinning endlessly), same with tailscale as well and twitch.
Trying to go each app's respective website fails as well.

All of these are immediately rectified by switching to mobile data.

edit: Might have logged duplicate tickets since things are messed up, the first ticket i logged seems to have been logged as a guest but when I refresh my portal, it's gone. So i just ended up submitting another one.

Same here for me
We are aware of an issue specifically with regards to AWS traffic in the JHB region. We are investigating
 
Please can you check on this again? We've adjusted advertisements to AWS away from the affected peering point.
Net dropped for a couple of minutes but it looks like its back up again and things are working again

There was an issue with AWS traffic as mentioned above, however this has since been resolved. Also seeing a lot of loss on your internal LAN. Will ask the team to reach out

Thanks for confirming ,can you please check out internet connection we getting timeouts and internet seems unstable
 
Signed up with WebSquad at the start of the month. Looking at the thread and various posts I thought I’d have a stable connection from installation.

Fast forward two weeks, I’ve had internet for 4 whole days. The rest of the days have been riddled with issues and fibre breaks.

We are aware of this issue. It is FNO related and due to a hardware fault and the aforementioned fibre break. Teams are currently on site and our team is following up on this for you. Thanks for your patience here and I do understand the frustration.
