Web sQuad ISP - Feedback Thread #2

Yea but the website says no...
There's no hard cap and we don't count GB used, the link to the FUP is in our footer. It's a discretionary measure to protect network against abuse that would affect other users' experience, and the in fact we've had one actual case of abuse since we launched 1 Gbps services in 2019 says a lot in this regard.

Ah, so like peeps that share it. Gotcha, yea I went through the AUP and FUP. Was just curious thanks for the info

Internet just died for a few minutes, ONT was still green, any known issues?
Vuma Trenched if I remember? I see our Vuma link at the office died around then, and you're on the same pop as far as I remember. Might have been a POP side issue.

Are you guys using a PD of 56 or 64 on Websquad for IPV6? Is there a difference?

We’re delegating a /56. This gives you 256x/64s you can allocate to internal vlans should you require.
aah ok that makes sense - i thought both PDs had to have the same value but that makes sense

Experiencing degraded network performance tonight, wonder whats up
Same here, really degraded.
Speedtests show my full speed with low latency but I can't even stream from my plex server which is 4ms away. Can't play on geforce now because it's sitting at 67ms.

Tracing to my plex server shows the hop before the final destination being at ~70ms.

Rain's servers are hosted in teraco and tracing to the server's IP has me reaching NAP at ~70ms like above.

Resorting to cloudflare helps but man, what is happening? @websquadza

Also experiencing issues, websites take long to load, looks like DNS related possibly?

Yep. Same here. 19 hours for an iOS update.
Evening, apologies for only jumping on now. Investigating this, we are seeing some traffic going the wrong way, will provide updates shortly.

Update: We've made some adjustments to advertisements and traffic is already flowing better, however we're still working on this.

Any chance you can PM me a reverse trace here?

Follow up update. Traffic routing restored to normal around 2am this morning, and we've been monitoring closely since. Levels have restored across the board and things are looking back to normal.

Hi @websquadza ,
