WebAfrica ignoring emails

My 2 cents. I used Web Africa and the service was excelent. Aplied a day before month end for the service. Got call from them to tell me Telkom will charge me the full month fee for 6hr's to 12pm. They changed my aplication to save me costs. Jason helped me many time quick for tech problems no issues..I Know who will use them come OCT, NOV...........

My advice go for axxess or imaginet :) (evil grin).

Far too kind, May Telkom be your ISP till the end of time. Then you can see what GREAT customer care really is!

I'd love to comment on my interactions with WebAfrica...but I can't. Everything has just worked perfectly, so I've never had the need to contact them. My hosting sign-up was great though, and on the one time they phoned regarding an account query, everything was resolved perfectly within minutes.

ROFLMAO! this has got to be the best thread to read on a gloomy Tuesday :)

I'm stoked with webAfrica service, I always find the guys polite prompt and helpful, even when I'm an a$$, but have never had a technical issue. J0hJ@mes, you're a twit. But a really amusing one.

Evil suspicion - dude probably works for a competitor or mental institution. . . .

Oh Gawd! Thanks for making *me* laugh on this miserable, rainy Tuesday morning.

No, I don't work for a competitor or mental institution, but it might have something to do with the Zyban I'm taking: really messing up my moods.

Nevertheless, I do (honestly) think that this thread has done Webafrica far more good than harm... when all I really wanted to do was provoke them into responding to my emails and getting my problems sorted out.

But then again, maybe my problems have nothing to do with Webafrica, mmh?

I wonder what would happen if mybroadband had to run a poll to see which was the most popular ISP... TelkomISP has to be on the list... hehe :)

Thanks IC, in hindsight it was a bit much, fingers a bit faster than the brain . . .

To some degree it's a bit unfair to run a poll, I think the threads praising particular providers for hteir efforts are far more worthwhile as they put things in perspective.

why would it be unfair to run a poll?:) i wanna see where telkom comes on the list .. hehe

That's like international idols voting - Start poll, put Telkom on the bottom by default . .

And they want us to appear inpartial? ;)
