Hi Guys
What would I pay for a Lodge Website design and hosting? Must be able to take bookings.
Not complicated. Some 20 photos and general info.
I don't have a clue.
Any info will be most welcome.

The static design will cost a few grands and then the booking system will be more complicated and therefore more costly.

Anything from R10k-50k depending on requirements.
App and database hosting will be a few hundred a month.

pretty easy with Wordpress & a few booking plugins. you could DIY it with a premium theme & plugins - probably cost you 1 to 1.5k and about R80 to R100 / mo for decent hosting. Or pay about 4 to 8k to have someone do it for you

If they don't need anything extra ordinary when it comes to the booking system, why reinvent the wheel? WordPress with the right plugin will get you there.

Hosting a few 100 a month? Na.

Maybe too late on this but 10-15k is far too small a budget if you want a proper job when a business diary would do just as well. If you're doing this you'd want to skip a plug in as some have suggested and build an API and UI. I think you want to drum up business properly right? The API can then be published via bedbanks and 3rd party booking platforms. Save yourself the complexity involved with figuring this stuff out from scratch (canx policies in xml, real time availability, cancellations, etc) and check out Nightsbridge or Tourvest. There are others but these are a good starting points.
