It has been many years since I had a domain and a website that I played around with. With our 2nd child, work, hobbies etc, I don't get time to explore the world as I did. I love technology and try to find out how things work. That said, I am no specialist in web design.
I don't have time to figure this out so thought I would shoot a question to forum members. Maybe I am lucky and someone could assist immensely.
So I want to "try" out this project. It sounds simple but may be a bit more complex than I anticipated. I have a pastor who sends out voice notes every now and then via whatsapp. I was considering uploading those voice notes to the web and somehow have them displayed in a table form for others to view and listen or download. The pastor don't seem to save these messages and I thought it to be a good idea to upload it to the web somewhere and people can go back and listen to the voice notes on their one time.

What I was thinking was is there a way one could upload a file to a web server and the site would automatically add it to the top of the table with some info like the current day and perhaps a short message/heading. Not sure how the short message would be rendered.

I will register a domain name. Space and traffic would have to be considered. Maybe not now but if it grows can I upgrade? I am not familiar with all the design templates out there. May have been automated a lot since I worked with it some 8 years back. It would be nice to have a modern look to it etc.
I would spend some money to devolop the idea but like to keep it simple and with minimal inputs to uplaod files and change the website etc.
How do I approach this?

Save your time and upload it to spotify, youtube, facebook or whatever.

No one goes to dedicated websites anymore.
Literally the best idea. Easily accessible, easy to share, no development costs, no monthly costs, no server maintenance (gotta love a corrupt DB every once in a while), no worrying about backups, easy to use, easily searchable, easy to categorize (using playlists), infinitely scalable (still at no cost) the list goes on.

What I was thinking is with all these, you need an account. Not a problem for me though. Do services like Spotify offer free accounts for use of listening podcasts? I myself don't have Spotify.
I get it no one goes to websites anymore. Seems logical to go the "music service" route....

If you are adament to do this you could easily do it with WordPress.
