My first post here and its been a while since I last used a Forum.

I was busy doing lots of maintenance IRO broken links on my website. Start wondering if It was my line speed or the website causing the slow rate of response.

Can anybody explain in a few words why Flash is used? I personally hate watching a clock tick down.
Anyway found this tool which I thought was very useful, so shared here.

Re why Flash is used:
  • Developer was cryogenically frozen for 2 decades.
  • Irritation factor is a key design attribute for the site.
  • ....

Pagespeed insights is a bit dof when it comes to websites hosted in SA and the fact the Google's own libraries will prevent you to get high marks since you cannot cache analytics, tag manager and facebook's SDK unless you save those thirdparty libraries on your server and then setup a cron job to update them twice a day as google's libriaries change a lot.

There lots of RSA website sitting at +90%. Any way its a good comparison Of A vs B and users, to my mind do not sit around to wait for a site to load with a score as low as 22/100.

Rather use GTmetrix. Their reports are great when you need to find out what is slowing down your website.
