Website security flaws in SA: why shoot the messenger?

I can't wait until the administrations eventually change and get people like House and his ilk out of their towers of power.

And that is the reason why laws are needed to control people who are not capable of controlling themselves. Just imagine how worse this country will be without laws....

You are free to think and say what you want, but at the end of the day everyone on this forum knows what happened with the COJ incident was wrong.

This is evident looking at how the CellC and VC incidents were reported and made public.

It is furthermore evident in the way in which the Sanral incident was made public by an anonymous poster.

The only thing is that the majority of people are behind Magic and feels that public pressure may lead to the investigation being stopped. Well, bad news, it won't. Law enforcement and judicial systems are not swayed by public opinion.
 
I for one think that the opinions of House are interesting as they (a) are along the same lines of government and (b) find no agreement with anyone else. This allows at least me to try and understand the illogical thinking of the leaders of this country and how things can go wrong without anyone taking responsibility.

Whenever I hear a statement from House about the criminal nature of all those "cyber-attacks", it makes me think of this:

I have never seen the CoJ do the right thing !

They cannot even do the basics, like collecting garbage, or have correct electricity or rates accounts. Imbeciles !

I am glad you look at it that way.

I cannot fall in line behind all the other headless chickens saying you did nothing wrong and nothing will happen, simply because I know this is not the case.

However, please do take what I said on the forums into consideration. I was speaking from own experience with these cases.

Although I am not in agreement with the way in which COJ approached this incident, I also cannot condone your actions for various reasons. However, your reasons and intentions do show mitigation in my view.
