Weed growers thread

Anyone know of a brick n mortar store that sells decent loupes or handheld microscopes? Heaps online I know but I'm looking for a real store to test it out before buying. Ta
 
Hi guys, I'm looking to mix my own soil in line with this:

Composted Super Soil Ingredients
6 bags x 10-gallon (35 pounds or 1.5 cu. ft.) Roots Organic Soil
2 bags x 50L (35 lbs) Biobizz Light-Mix soil
2 bags x 30 lbs Organic Earthworm Castings
1 box 6 lbs Fish Bone Meal (3-16-0) Note: 3-15-0 or 3-18-0 can also be used
1 cup Dolomite Lime (“prilled” if possible)
½ cup Azomite (0-0-0.2)
1 box 5 lbs Blood Meal (12-0-0)
1 bag 4 lbs Happy Frog Bat Guano (0-5-0)
¾ cup Epsom Salt
(Optional) Up to 25% Perlite (for extra drainage)

Anyone know where I might find these ingredients and maybe exact brands? I've been Googling all day but can't seem to find anything specific or reasonably priced. Preferably looking for a supplier in the JHB/East Rand area. Thanks :)

Almost all that stuff can be bought at a nursery - Starke Ayres etc.
The Guano might need to find a hydrophonic store.
 
Ye, was hoping to get more or less the same brands. Suppose it doesn't matter too much, but worried about the quality of the stuff.

Anyone know what a good local alternative to Roots Organic Soil would be? Can't seen to find any info...

Are you a first time grower? Dont waste your time with custom soil mixes, you are just introducing another unknown factor into the equation if something goes wrong.
Also the gro shop in jhb has their own tried and tested premixes and I can recommend that.

Stop following advice from USA forums :) See my previous reply about thegroshops premixes.

Thanks for the info. I've tried Googling "the grow shop" Can't seem to find anything. Do you know if they have a website? Could you provide the address and I'll check them out. Thanks again.

I'll probably turn it into Rick Simpson oil.

What is your location? There is a shop in Claremont but when I was in Jhb there was a shop like this there but i dont see the address on the page.

I haven't tried this batch. I tried my first plant though. Smoke is harsh.
I've never been high so it's hard to compare. Coordination and decision making was slow. I was on the computer and started to struggle to use it. Went to the shops and everything seemed very busy, a mirror in the store almost freaked me out. Otherwise very chilled, similar to being mellow on alcohol.20180630_105941.jpg
