Or you could force the mother plant to self fertilise, using a mixture of colloidal silver. You obviously however run the risk of hermaphrodites genetics. If however it go's well you have feminised seeds.
 
Hi All, don't want to necro threads but.....

Are any of you still doing this? I'm looking at https://www.cannabisseeds.co.za/ but the prices are insane, anyone have any experience with them? Would it be better to go with other shops mentioned here nirvanashop etc? Looking for a strain that's good for pain relief / making oil. Any tips appreciated.

I just installed a small "lab" in my kitchenette after a few seedlings started to grow from the weed I buy.

I would say get the technique down first if you are looking to grow indoors, outdoors its pretty easy, don't spend a fortune on equipment, theres always setups being sold on gumtree for cheap. Once you have the technique down you can invest in better equipment and seeds.

I've been struggling to grow in my flat for as long as I've been living here (with only one successful grow) but recently some seedlings have taken so I'm going to try again.

Lol, this is the plan. Also wondering about suppliers. Just want to get from somewhere that's not gonna sell me dud seeds, get a little grow tent with lights and give it a shot xD
 
Got a few growing in my hydroponics system. Just got a bunch of seeds from a college and binned the males when they came up.
But yeah, buying seeds is crazy expensive.

Ye, prices are insane :/ Anyone got a good place for growtents and lights? I was looking at this: https://hydroponic.co.za/hydroponics/mars-hydro-combo-reflector-48/ but seems crazy expensive... not sure it's the same, but amazon has this https://www.amazon.com/MarsHydro-Spectrum-Hydroponic-Indoor-Growing/dp/B00XC3LBI2 for $75 usd....
 
A R200 seed planted in a 20l bucket outdoors will give you more weed than you can use in a year though. It's growing indoors which is expensive.

Unfortunately I will have to grow indoors, would appreciate any tips on tents and lights. Everything I find locally is insanely expensive.

Decriminalization or decriminalisation is the lessening of criminal penalties in relation to certain acts, perhaps retroactively, though perhaps regulated permits or fines might still apply (for contrast, see: legalization).

Legalization (also spelled legalisation) is the process of removing a legal prohibition against something which is currently not legal.
 
more than a year later not a single update from the OP and you still want to take what he has to say seriously?

No & No. The only case that has concluded & won was the March 2017 case for the consumption & growing in the privacy of your own home. Trial of the Plant has been postponed till "whenever" :(

So keep your grows secret, folks.

There's a stay of prosecution until the constitutional court has confirmed the invalidity of section of the current act.
After which the decriminalization needs to be considered by parliament.

Once again decriminalization does not mean Legalized. E.g. Speeding is decriminalized but is ilegal ... hence you won't get criminal record for speeding but you will be fined. If you do get a criminal record for speed it's actually for reckless driving or reckless endangerment.
