Does anyone know why so many WeFix stores have permanently closed?

We used to use them to repair iPads but it's been a while. I need to replace some batteries and two dodge screens in some aging iPads and iStore doesn't do them.

While there are about three WeFix stores left according to their website, I am now Hesitant in using the closest one in case they close down?

Can anyone recommend a reliable iPad repair place in the Sandton area?

They closed both branches in the EC years ago, since then we've been using The Real Repair Company (aka Apple Doctor).

Thank you.

I think I have been blind. Wondering how come I never saw the store at my local shopping center. Gonna check them out. R7K for an iPad Pro screen (3rd party!) Gonna do one as a test.

They're [usually] part of the Cellucity branch. Easy to miss.

Have done so. Two devices booked in today.

Do they supply decent batteries?
That we would need to see (after the replacement battery has been used for period of time).

All our jobs were expensive screen replacements, for which their workmanship is great. Replacement screens work well. FaceID still functionality. They didn't have batteries in stock for iPad Pros so haven't had an opportunity to replace any of those yet

Whats the screen colour like if you compare it side by side to one with an original screen?
My experience with non original screens is they work well but the colour balance is always a bit off at a minimum and sometimes way off.
