Does anyone know of a good weight loss supplement that will actually work?

Anyone used the New You products yet? I'm interested to know if these products worked for anyone?

well, two colleagues at work joined sure-slim, and it WORKED like a BOMB!! I couldnt believe how much weight they have lost! On average about 2kg a week. It really works!

I see that the New You stuff has a dvd with training videos, supplements and also some exercise bands that you can use at home to exercise with.
Never really been a gym person....but can probably do it at home. I was at their website and it looks like a complete system.

But would like to hear from someone that is on it first.

all I can say is sure slim. I have seen it work in front of my eyes.

Here is the only proven weight-loss formula.

The calories you consume must be less than you expend

Smartest comment of the day.

Buy a heart rate monitor instead of wasting money on garbage, exercise in the correct heart rate zones for weight loss, eat properly.

I have "dieted" recently, by diet i dont mean rabbit food, simply no carbs after 4, small regular portions of food, no soft drinks. I exercise in the right zones, and am losing around 1.5 kg a week. And i still cheat regularly.

go with old school stuff, thinz...

....but also start exercising and eating ballanced as well.

We have a rather large woman here at work who has always ALWAYS been on some sort of diet.

She eats healthy but just sits on her LARGE ass all day.

You can't exactly expect the fat to just... leave on it's own.

I asked her to do the Big walk and she just laughed at me.

As a matter of fact, I had a good laugh today, I went to the food area and saw her, I greeted her with the normal greeting and then said "how is the diet going" and she replied with... "great! I lost 1kg this month"

The people around me just laughed... she smiled away like she achieved greatness.

+1 - calorie counting - it works and pro's use it
+1 - training in the zone
+1^google - training like a deamon

It is also important to determine what you're goal is, losing weight is easy and starvation will go a long way in reducing the fat, and the muscle and once you stop expect the rebound...Losing fat on the other hand is a little bit more complex but if you do it right there is no rebound

+100

And do not quit smoking!!! I'm gaining 2kg a week....:(

Thats such a cop out really. You *CAN* quit smoking and not gain a KG. It's called "don't put **** in your mouth"

Same goes when I tell people how to stop smoking. Its easy. You just stop.

But because they have the habit of having **** in their mouth constantly they start eating more instead. WTF?

Get a grip, your subconscious CANT be THAT hard to override with some constant thinking.

"Gee, do I eat this donut because I'm starved for a sigarette? No lets just drink some water and wait for lunch"

Cravings are for the weak

:D

Have you ever smoked?

odd; i just eat my vegetables, fruits and a reasonable portion of meat and starch. o and of course the frequent gym visits, that had me lost 15Kg's and fit.

eat properly + exercise == results

But i do not do those bad stuff..
I eat even beter than before:( i'm doing the whole goog living thing)
My garden produces the best salad stuff... rarely have treats (sweet stuff)
But i'm like a balloon... :o

Very strange...but hell i'm not smoking again...:D
The Bio says it's muscle but i doubt that very much, it's to soon.
And my tummy is growing like a pregnant lady!! (have tested negative for that)

So i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong....

It could be related to you body type (somatotype). I personally am a bit of a endomorph and a mesomorph so gaining muscle is easy but losing fat is a royal pain in the @ss. Likewise I'm massively sensitive to carbs and as such I fatten up quickly so I try to limit it as much as possible.

first thing you must always remember, is that proper results don't happen over night - those loose 7kgs-a-week options is crap, and you will put the weight back on, plus maybe more.

so keep up the good eating habits, exercise etc, maybe incl small extra things like taking the stairs instead of the lift, don't drive around looking for the closest possible parking to the mall entrance

maybe join up a group like weighless, weightwatchers etc, as sometimes its just that bit of extra motivation that you need

Okay went and bought the New You Exercise pack and Value Pack. Got a ball, pump and the elastic bands that you use for resistance training. Looks like a decent package, beter than some other stuff I used before. I also got a dvd with some testimonials and what seems to be a decent training program on it for beginner, intermediate and advance. They explain in details what every product is for which gives me the feeling that they know what they are doing and not trying to just sell me a product that will not work or cause me damage.

Looks like allot of science went into this. Lets see how this works and I will post my results on the site.
